She originally purchased the house to celebrate winning American Idol in 2005.

But as a sign that Carrie Underwood has well and truly moved on from her modest beginnings she has put the house on the market and it's been sold.

Unfortunately the country singer, who bought the three bed house in Tennessee for $384,000, made a slight loss as the crib sold for $372,500.

The 2,956 square-foot home in Franklin, features three-and-a-half bathrooms, as well as multiple living areas.

My Comment: She's upgrading .... but it is definitely a cosy home.

  1. That is a nice house! I've been looking around for decently big solar homes in Tennessee. I feel like I need to do my part to help protect the environment, and buying a home like this is step one.
